副系主任

在加入学术界前,闾丘博士在电视新闻媒体工作了二十年。她采访了许多重大国际新闻,包括阿富汗反恐战争,伊拉克战争,阿拉伯之春,印尼海啸,日本地震,四川地震等。她也负责报导中国政治新闻,采访了多位中国国家领导人。她在凤凰卫视担任过记者,主持人,评论员以及新闻总监。闾丘博士也因为出版的书籍以及活跃在中文互联网而吸引无数中文读者。她是2006年哈佛大学尼曼学者。她在宾州州立大学获得大众传播博士学位,浸会大学获得大众传播硕士学位。她出生于上海,并且在上海复旦大学获得哲学学士学位。
